Player Safety reminder!

Scheduling Games in Arbiter Sports Assignment System

WCSC will be again be using www.ArbiterSports.com - a web-based game assignment system.

· Each referee must have a login id to access this system.

· Information on the system will be provided during the training classes.

Refereeing a game at WCSC:

· Arrive 15-20 minutes before the game’s start time

· Stop at the concession stand to get the game’s score card

Pick-up your week night cards on Saturdays!

· Go to the field and meet the other referee

· Walk the field – check the goal area

Fix any issues:

§ Move any parents away from the ends and the team side

§ Fill any holes and secure the net, if needed

Introduce you & your partner to each coach & shake their hand

o Get paid, exact change by the HOME COACH

o If only one referee shows for the game – you get all the referee payment

· Walk to the center of the field and BLOW YOUR WHISTLE LOUD

o Get the player check-in complete

§ NO casts or jewelry

o Get a game ball from the HOME COACH

· Get the game started on time!

· At the end of the game – have BOTH coaches sign and return the card to the concession stand immediately
